Proyecto Espacios de Memoria – Moravia

The main objective of the project Espacios de Memoria (Moravia Memory Spaces) is to undertake artistic interventions in the public space of the neighbourhood Moravia, in Medellín. These interventions will serve to communicate to Moravia's inhabitants at first place and to the public in general, the importance of the neighbourhood’s urban and social development and urban transformation during the past years. read more

Our aim is to make art to be an instrument for social transformation that interacts in the social- cultural and productive spaces of Moravia, in order to generate spaces of dialogue and new meeting dynamics for the inhabitants and national and international artists.
The project, curated by el puente-lab, has been developed under an scheme of international cooperation between CDCM (Moravia Cultural Development Centre) and Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella – Italy with the support of the Creativity Festival of Florence, Italy and Mondriaan Foundation from The Netherlands.
